Howard Fischer will be a panelist at the EY 2022 London Global Conference panel "Digital Assets - Not A Virtual Reality Anymore?" The conference will be held December 30 – December 2, 2022 and Mr. Fischer's panel will be held on December 1.

This panel will discuss trends in legislation, regulation and structuring of digital assets in international markets, including multi-jurisdictional offerings and placements, custody, trading, AML, taxation, against the backdrop of recent regulatory pronouncements and actions in various countries. The panel will examine a range of issues including the effects of laws being issued in countries such as the United States, Switzerland and Brazil; Community directives under debate in Europe; the intense regulatory effort underway in the US; amongst others. Emphasis will also be given to the innovation and value creation side of this story, and how regulators are using regulatory sandboxes and laboratories to test and allow for legal experiments.
