Nigel is an associate in the Corporate Group at Moses Singer, where he counsels private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on sophisticated transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and control and minority investments, and advises emerging companies across the full corporate life cycle - from formation and early-stage financing through growth and successful exits. His practice focuses on helping founders and businesses navigate complex transactional matters with a practical, business-oriented approach.

Nigel currently serves as Chair of the Corporate Law Section of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.

Nigel received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as a research assistant to several law professors, conducting in-depth research on a wide range of legal topics, including patent law, tax, class action securities fraud, bankruptcy, immigration, and civil rights. He also interned with the Filmmakers Legal Clinic, where he reviewed and analyzed distribution and licensing agreements for independent filmmakers, gaining valuable experience at the intersection of law, media, and business.

Outside of his legal practice, Nigel is a Chess Candidate Master and is committed to community engagement, volunteering his time to teach chess to underrepresented children.
