Banking and Securities Veteran Justine Clark Joins Moses Singer
Moses Singer is pleased to announce the arrival of Justine Clark as Of Counsel with the firm’s Banking & Finance and Corporate practice groups.
With more than three decades of financial services sector experience, Clark is a trusted advisor and dealmaker to organizations that range from middle-market banks to Fortune 500 companies. She advises banks and investors in connection with regulatory issues affecting the acquisition of substantial interests in bank holding companies. She has appeared before the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency concerning the approval of various banking combinations and has served as outside counsel to several foreign banks. Clark is also at the forefront of new developments pertaining to investments in FinTech, derivatives and ESG sectors, as well as the market for carbon credits.
“Justine’s broad financial services background will be a great asset to our clients as they navigate a new regulatory climate. Her familiarity with the treatment of carbon credits will be particularly valuable as it is regulated from a commodity to a publicly traded security,” said Dean Swagert, Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the Corporate practice group at Moses Singer.
“I’m excited to join Moses Singer’s talented banking and corporate teams,” said Clark. “It will be rewarding to work together with Josh once again to help financial technology firms of all sizes to innovate and maximize their opportunities in new ways.”
Clark holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. in Biochemistry from Barnard College. She is conversant in French, Spanish and Italian.
