In transactional finance, our objective is to listen to our clients' needs and objectives and then find practical legal solutions that simultaneously protect our clients and allow them to close transactions in an efficient manner. To that end, we do not simply replicate established documentary forms (ours or anyone else's) if our client's desired business arrangements do not fit neatly within such cookie-cutter forms. Rather, we have the experience to see the transactions as a whole and not lose sight of important details.

Consistent with that outlook, and as a corollary of our relatively small size for a law firm in the financial markets that we service, our partners and other senior counsel are more involved in the process toward closing than may be customary for many of our clients. We do not regard financial instruments, term sheets, credit documents and the like as assembly line products where one size fits all; instead, we strive to properly fit each client and transaction.

The above aspects of our Banking & Finance transactional practice allow our Firm to provide a higher return on investment for our financial institution clients by providing better quality legal work at a comparable, or in many cases, a materially lower cost.

We are nationally known for our experience in financing transactions. Representing financial institutions has been central to the Firms practice since its founding in 1919.
