The Metro Edition of New York Super Lawyers® recognized lawyers as Rising Stars in the practice areas of Banking, Business Reorganization, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights, Corporate, Employment Litigation: Defense, Litigation, Real Estate, Technology and Trusts and Estates. This category awards lawyers who are 40 years or younger or in practice for 10 years or less, based on peer reviews and first-hand observation by other lawyers in the New York Metro area.

Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase process consisting of peer nominations and evaluations plus third-party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.
