Women’s Initiative Committee and the Advancement of Women. The firm formed the Women's Initiative Committee to support the advancement of women attorneys and allyship between them. The committee meets regularly and encourages candid discussion about unique career paths, advancement, work-life balance, rainmaking and business development. The group sponsors women networking events and discussions on various important topics such as the Marriage Equality Act in New York; "Starting Your Own Business," a program attended by female entrepreneurs; and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women luncheon, an event aimed at educating women about heart disease.
Women play a vital role in the legal field. We started the Women’s Initiative at Moses Singer more than a decade ago to foster an environment where women attorneys can build successful legal careers while, at the same time, maintain a work-life balance. As a group, we celebrate personal and professional achievements.
