Samuel Goodstein is an associate in the Litigation Practice at Moses Singer. 

Prior to joining Moses Singer, Sam was an Assistant District Attorney in the Major Economic Crimes Bureau for the Queens County District Attorney's Office, where he investigated and prosecuted complex financial crimes and was a member of the SHIELD Intelligence Task Force. In that role, he conducted felony and misdemeanor jury trials, suppression hearings, and grand jury presentments, and prepared briefs, complaints, and search and cell-site warrants. He regularly organized and analyzed fact-intensive discovery, led proffers, and interviewed witnesses, victims, and law enforcement officers. Sam also supervised junior ADAs during grand jury proceedings, hearings, and court appearances. As a member of the Major Economic Crimes Bureau, Sam worked closely with state and federal partners, including the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and the NYPD’s Financial Crimes Task Force. His prosecutorial work was recognized with the 2025 Prosecutor of the Year award from the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators and the 2022 Rookie of the Year award from the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. Before serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Sam was an associate in the New York office of a large national law firm. 

Sam was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Vincent F. Papalia, U.S.B.J., and for the Honorable Regina C. Caulfield, J.S.C., prior to graduating from Brooklyn Law School.
