Biography

Rebecca Zittell Green is an associate in Moses & Singer's Litigation, Employment Litigation, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation, and Employment & Severance Agreements practice groups. She counsels employers on a wide range of day-to-day workplace matters and represents both employers and employees in employment litigation and other employment-related disputes. She also handles a broad range of commercial litigation, including business and real estate disputes.

Rebecca represents both employers and employees in employment disputes before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, negligent hiring, restrictive covenants, breaches of employment agreements, and confidential information disputes. She also advises employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and on workplace issues involving performance management and employee discipline, employee terminations, leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations, employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents and practices. Rebecca also drafts and revises employee handbooks and workplace policies and provides practical guidance on other day-to-day employment matters.

Her commercial litigation experience includes breach of contract actions, mortgage foreclosure litigation, landlord-tenant matters, and other real estate disputes.  Rebecca represents clients throughout all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling and pre-suit strategy through motion practice, discovery, mediation, trial preparation, and appeal. She regularly analyzes complex legal and factual issues and develops litigation strategies that account for her clients' broader business objectives.
