Biography
Michelle H. Cox is a Partner in Moses Singer’s Corporate practice group. Michelle advises a diverse client base on mergers and acquisitions and a broad range of general corporate commercial matters and debt and equity financings. Michelle has counseled small and middle market companies engaged in advertising, marketing, public affairs, consumer products, beauty, retail and a wide range of other industries.
Michelle has significant experience representing founders and small and mid-size companies from formation, throughout their growth stage and ultimately through their exit strategies and mergers and acquisitions on both the buyer and seller side. Michelle counsels clients on their operating agreements, general corporate governance, employment and compensation arrangements including equity compensation plans, a broad range of complex commercial contracts and other general business matters.
Michelle is included in Lawdragon's 2026 500 Leading Dealmakers in America Guide. She was selected as a Rising Star Super Lawyer 2018-2024.
Michelle attended the University of Michigan Law School, and prior to law school, she was an insurance underwriter specializing in commercial risk assessment and excess casualty coverage.
