Robert Rosenberg is Interviewed in a Corporate Counsel Q&A Titled, "Everybody Needs a Lawyer: Why a Former Showtime GC Returned to Law Firm Life"
When Robert launched his solo legal practice in 2023 after a 22-year run at Showtime, he thought his decision to go it alone meant he'd never work at a Big Law firm again.
However, Rob is always on the go - after all, he has visited all seven continents. And so, this summer Rob found himself joining Moses & Singer as a partner in the IP, Entertainment/Media & Technology and AI & Data Law practice groups. He also serves as managing director of MS Strategic Solutions, the firm's consulting arm.
“There are different kinds of lawyers,” Rob told Corporate Counsel. “I'm a lover, not a fighter. I help bring companies together.”
Rob talked with Corporate Counsel about his career path, what drew him back to law firm life, how he advises clients navigating disruption and why law firms benefit from hiring former GCs.
