Toby Butterfield was invited by the Kernochan Center at Columbia Law School to speak on Artificial Intelligence Litigation.  Toby’s presentation explained the many recent cutting edge litigation decisions addressing the legality of using copyrighted works to “train” artificial intelligence systems.  In addition, Toby lectured on recent settlements in the area and the historical background of the Supreme Court’s treatment of new technological developments.
