Clients look to Dean not only for his transactional experience, but for his guidance and practical advice from start-up to growth stage to acquisitions or sale of the company.  He frequently acts as outside general counsel on matters ranging from commercial contracts, employment and severance agreements, incentive compensation arrangements, capital raising initiatives, investments, commercial alliances and partnerships, corporate governance, and general business advice.

Dean also regularly represents financial institutions and service providers in their roles as indenture trustee, administrative agent, collateral agent and paying agent, and other third party agency roles in a wide variety of complex financing transactions.

Dean is known for providing practical commercial advice.  He is committed to listening to his clients and understanding their business objectives.  Protecting the client is his first responsibility, but achieving the client’s overall goals and objectives is an essential part of Dean’s role.  Assessing risk, spotting issues and problems is only the beginning of the process.  Finding alternative approaches, creative problem solving, and then recommending a path forward is the key step in executing successful transactions.  Clients rely on Dean to understand their respective industries, individual concerns and objectives. Dean manages this process in a team-oriented and collaborative manner both with the client and with the Moses & Singer team involved.

As Moses & Singer’s Managing Partner, Dean focuses on the strategic direction of the firm and its client relationships.  He ensures that Moses & Singer is client-focused providing the highest quality of legal services and products in an efficient manner.  He is committed to maintaining the firm’s long-standing culture of collaboration, collegiality and entrepreneurial spirit.  In his role as Managing Partner, Dean aims to provide a platform that enables and enhances the ability of the firm’s attorneys to develop and grow their practices and meet their client’s needs for legal services.  An important element of this objective is attracting, developing and retaining top legal talent and staff dedicated to meeting the client-focused approach of Moses & Singer.  A diverse workplace which reflects the firm’s clients and society as a whole is an essential part of this goal.
