Alexia Crawford has started over more times than most leaders will in a lifetime. She moved to the U.S. at 19 and launched a jewelry business because she couldn't legally work for anyone else. Over the next 34 years, she built a manufacturing operation across China and India, opened a retail chain that grew to 55 locations, sold it, ran the wholesale side through a wave of retail bankruptcies, hit a wall, discovered AI, and became CEO of 8westervelt, an automation company built for retail clients.
