Moses Singer Mourns the Passing of Alvin H. Schulman, Esq.
We are saddened that our colleague and friend Alvin Schulman passed away on August 14, 2022.
Alvin was a partner at Moses Singer for 31 years, practicing corporate, intellectual property and entertainment law and, in later years, trust and estates. He also served for many years as Moses Singer’s legal ethics and conflict expert. Before joining the Firm, Alvin had a long and distinguished career and also served as the President of International Creative Management (ICM).
Alvin was the epitome of Moses Singer’s culture: his deep commitment to excellence, collegiality, collaboration and client-focused approach. He set a very high standard both for himself and the lawyers working on firm matters. Alvin was a gentleman in the way he dressed and in the manner he dealt with others. He was an opera enthusiast attending concerts and festivals around the world and was a member of the Metropolitan Opera Club. He was also a passionate baseball (Met) fan – at one time making the circuit of all of the Major League stadiums.
Alvin will be missed, but his commitment to excellence will live on in the fabric of Moses Singer.
