Whether buying, selling, licensing or investing in entertainment-related assets, it is important to understand what goes into the IP diligence process. Using real-world examples, panelists will delve deeper into the topic, discussing how the diligence process may differ depending on the nature of the transaction, chain of title and other key issues that may arise, and how to address deficiencies discovered during the diligence process. Bill Tanenbaum will be a speaker on the panel titled "Contractual Drafting Changes in the World of Artificial Intelligence."  This panel will cover the way artificial intelligence is changing the way entertainment contracts are drafted. From attorneys using their own data to create bespoke AI applications to artists using Chat GPT and other large language model websites to review contracts without attorneys, AI will forever change the legal landscape. But with new technologies come new challenges, and studios, networks, streaming services, music labels, and artists alike must adapt to the use of these new technologies.
