Devika Kewalramani will be on a PLI panel, “Ethics for the Open Source Practitioner” in The Law and Business of Open Source Software 2024program. This session will analyze various hypotheticals based on likely scenarios facing a technology lawyer who works in the OSS space. Topics include: ethical issues in client counseling scenarios, obligations to clients in using technology to support their legal practices, how to properly communicate with adversaries in OSS transactions, and the role of privilege and confidentiality in OSS-related counseling and litigation matters.
