Howard A. Fischer Appointed Co-Chair of NYSBA Committee on Digital Assets and Currency

The Committee on Digital Assets and Currency serves as a leading forum for legal professionals addressing the rapidly evolving regulatory, transactional, and compliance issues surrounding cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, tokenized assets, stablecoins, and other emerging forms of digital finance.
Howard is recognized for his work at the intersection of financial services regulation, digital assets, fintech, and emerging technologies. In his new leadership role, he will help guide the Committee’s efforts to examine legal developments, foster dialogue among practitioners, and provide thought leadership on the opportunities and challenges presented by the digital asset ecosystem.
He regularly advises clients on regulatory compliance, digital asset and cryptocurrency matters, anti-money laundering requirements, fintech innovation, and emerging financial technologies. He is a frequent speaker and author on developments affecting the digital asset industry.
