Moses & Singer is pleased to announce the expansion of its Business Reorganization, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights practice with the addition of Richard Corbi, of counsel.
Richard has over a decade of experience representing financially distressed companies in chapter 11 restructurings and out-of-court work outs. Richard’s experience also includes representing rights offering backstoppers, official committees of unsecured creditors, DIP lenders and asset purchasers in major chapter 11 restructurings as well as ad hoc creditor groups, hedge funds and investors in various distressed and restructuring scenarios. He has been involved in many of the largest chapter 11 cases including Philadelphia Newspapers, Lyondell Chemical, K-V Discovery Solutions, Inc. and Interstate Bakeries Corp. Richard clerked in the District Court for the Southern District of New York for Judge Laura Taylor Swain in connection with the Title III proceedings of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and for Bankruptcy Judges Alan S. Trust and Louis A. Scarcella in the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. Richard earned his LL.M. in Bankruptcy from St. John’s University School of Law, J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, and B.A. from Ithaca College.
