Moses & Singer Ad Agency Client, John Street Inc., is Acquired by a Subsidiary of WPP plc

Moses & Singer Partner, Jeffrey Davis, is proud to announce that his client, John Street Inc. was recently acquired by JS Acquisitions Inc., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of WPP plc, a multi-national advertising and public relations company based in London. John Street is a Toronto-based creative agency which provides marketing, communications and advertising services. Jeffrey closed this transaction with the assistance of Lindsay Kaplan, an associate in the Corporate Department.
John Street handles lead advertising responsibilities in Canada for, among other clients: Mitsubishi, ING Direct, AstraZeneca, TJX retail stores, and Canadian electronics manufacturer Kobo. It recently won Silver Agency of the Year and Silver Digital Agency of the Year by Canada’s Strategy magazine.
“The deal was incredibly complex,” notes Jeff. “But because we have extensive experience with ad agencies we were able to negotiate a win-win deal for both sides. It was an honor to be part of this successful transaction.”
