Who is James M. Sullivan?
James is the newest partner to join Moses & Singer’s Business Reorganization, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights practice group.
How does he help his clients?
James guides his clients through the complexities of corporate restructuring and bankruptcy, as well as distressed situations and complex commercial disputes. He has experience representing creditor committees, corporate debtors, banks, secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, and distressed investors in large chapter 11 cases. On the transactional side, James counsels clients on M&A transactions and borrowers and lenders on matters involving acquisition financing.

What is James’ background?
James earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a Registered Mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, as well as a member of the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. James regularly authors and lectures on numerous topics concerning bankruptcy, and is an experienced pilot who enjoys skiing and scuba diving.
