Devika Kewalramani, partner and co-chair of Moses & Singer's Legal Ethics & Law Firm Practice Group, is one of several authors of the newly-published The New York Rules of Professional Conduct. The two-volume legal ethics treatise, edited by the New York County Lawyers’ Association Ethics Institute, is a practical reference guide for lawyers that provides practice pointers, in-depth commentary and analysis of current case law and ethics opinions on New York State's new ethics rules. "The authors add useful insights and real world examples in their commentary on complex ethics rules which law firm and in-house lawyers need to consult in dealing with ethics issues," stated Alan Kolod, the firm's chairman. Ms. Kewalramani is a partner and co-chair of Moses & Singer's Legal Ethics & Law Firm Practice which advises corporate legal departments, law firms and lawyers on ethical, legal and business aspects of law practice. Devika focuses her practice on conflicts of interest, professional responsibility and risk management matters that often arise in the day-to-day practice of law. She is past Chair of the Subcommittee on Engagement Letters of the Professional Responsibility Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and a member of its Committee on Professional Discipline. Devika is a member of the Advisory Board of the Ethics Institute of the New York County Lawyers' Association.
