Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements are proliferating, and they are increasingly assuming a larger role in tax, financial and estate planning. The program will discuss the proncipal areas covered by marital agreements, such as property division, spousal support, counsel fees, retirement plans and estate tax portabilty, as well as lifestyle and confidentiality issues. The session also will address special issues that arise in prenuptial agreements in connection with immigration status and non-citizen spouses.
