Arlene G. Dubin and Rebecca A. Provder will speak on "Everything a Financial Planner Needs to Know About Marriage and Divorce" at the Financial Planning Conference co-sponsored by Baruch College and the New York State Society of CPAs.
In this discussion, Arlene and Rebecca wil outline the various ways financial advisors can “have your clients’ backs,” earn trust and help ease the burden of at least one major stressor during marriage or divorce: the matter of money. The speech will help advisors make sure that clients know what they’re getting into (or out of) financially by bolstering knowledge of critical issues such as equitable distribution, child support, spousal support, issues relating to same-sex couples, and prenuptial agreements.
