Moses & Singer selects a small group of highly qualified law students from a variety of backgrounds for its summer program. The goal of our summer program is to introduce summer associates to our practice and to provide them with an opportunity to learn exactly what it is like to practice law as an associate at Moses & Singer. The intimate size of our program allows summer associates to interact meaningfully with our attorneys in an informal yet professional environment.
Our summer program serves as our principal source for recruiting new associates. As a result, Moses & Singer does not recruit third-year law students.
We make every effort to expose summer associates to all facets of our practice and to involve them as much as possible in our on-going client matters. Over the course of the summer, summer associates are given assignments that are intended to expose them to as many of Moses & Singer's practice areas as possible.
Each summer associate is assigned an associate mentor who is available to answer questions and provide advice. Summer associates receive informal feedback on their performance from attorneys for whom they work. In addition, an end-of-summer performance review is conducted by partners in charge of the summer program.
Moses & Singer encourages its summer associates to participate in social events, both in and out of the office, that are designed to familiarize summer associates with their colleagues.
