Moses & Singer LLP, a mid-sized NYC law firm with a nationally recognized banking practice, seeks a lawyer with at least five years’ experience in banking transactions, to work on lending, letter of credit and other transactions for financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and closing domestic and international financing transactions (both syndicated and bilateral, secured, and unsecured) and a strong knowledge of the UCC and Bankruptcy Code. Experience in trade finance or fund finance (e.g., lending against capital commitments or subscriptions for capital) is a plus. This position has great potential for advancement within an active and expanding practice group.

Our Litigation group boasts a diverse practice encompassing all facets of commercial litigation and have particular experience in business disputes, Bank Litigation, Real Estate and Title Disputes, Unfair Competition Litigation, Patent, Trademark and Copyright cases, Employment Litigation, Entertainment Litigation, Fiduciary Duty Litigation, Bankruptcy Litigation, Trusts and Estates Litigation, and International Litigation. Our litigators work collaboratively with attorneys in other practice areas across industry sectors. Ideally, candidates will have hands-on litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions and making court appearances. Candidates must also be entrepreneurial, and willing to engage in business development efforts.

Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate restructuring and creditors’ rights issues to join a dynamic practice group that is involved in all sides of the restructuring business, nationally and internationally. The candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and excellent writing and research skills, as well as the ability to establish client and peer relationships in a team-oriented culture. We offer a collegial environment and the opportunity for significant responsibility and hands on experience. Large firm experience preferred.

Ideal candidates will have 2 - 4 years of experience in Estate and Trust Administration & Estate Planning, including experience in drafting sophisticated estate planning documents. The candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills and strong academics.
