Senior Banking Associate for our Banking & Finance practice group

Moses & Singer LLP, a mid-sized NYC law firm with a nationally recognized banking practice, seeks a lawyer with at least five years’ experience in banking transactions, to work on lending, letter of credit and other transactions for financial institutions.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and closing domestic and international financing transactions (both syndicated and bilateral, secured, and unsecured) and a strong knowledge of the UCC and Bankruptcy Code.  Experience in trade finance or fund finance (e.g., lending against capital commitments or subscriptions for capital) is a plus.  This position has great potential for advancement within an active and expanding practice group. 

Highly Qualified Associate for our high-profile Litigation practice group

Moses & Singer LLP,  a NYC mid-sized full-service firm, is seeking a highly qualified associate with four to six years of litigation experience to join our high-profile litigation practice.  

Our Litigation group boasts a diverse practice encompassing all facets of commercial litigation and have particular experience in business disputes, Bank Litigation, Real Estate and Title Disputes, Unfair Competition Litigation, Patent, Trademark and Copyright cases, Employment Litigation, Entertainment Litigation, Fiduciary Duty Litigation, Bankruptcy Litigation, Trusts and Estates Litigation, and International Litigation.  Our litigators work collaboratively with attorneys in other practice areas across industry sectors.  Ideally, candidates will have hands-on litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions and making court appearances.  Candidates must also be entrepreneurial, and willing to engage in business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four to six years of solid commercial litigation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills
  • Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
  • Bar membership in good standing in NY

Mid-Level Associate for our nationally recognized Business Reorganization, Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights practice group

Moses & Singer LLP, a NYC mid-sized full-service firm, is seeking a mid-level associate for our nationally recognized Business Reorganization, Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights practice group.  Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate restructuring and creditors’ rights issues to join a dynamic practice group that is involved in all sides of the restructuring business, nationally and internationally. The candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and excellent writing and research skills, as well as the ability to establish client and peer relationships in a team-oriented culture. We offer a collegial environment and the opportunity for significant responsibility and hands on experience.  Large firm experience preferred.

Junior-Level Associate for our nationally recognized Trust & Estates practice group

Moses & Singer LLP, a NYC mid-sized full-service firm, is seeking a junior-level associate for our nationally recognized Trust & Estates practice group.  Ideal candidates will have 2 - 4 years of experience in Estate and Trust Administration & Estate Planning, including experience in drafting sophisticated estate planning documents.  The candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills and strong academics. We offer a collegial environment and the opportunity for significant responsibility and hands on experience.  LLM a plus (not required)   Medium or Large firm experience preferred.
