Mid/Senior Associate - Trusts and Estates
Our Trust & Estates department group is looking for a Senior associate. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in estate planning and administration, including experience in drafting sophisticated estate planning documents. We are seeking someone with the ability and desire to take a lead role in client matters. Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills are required. Large firm experience preferred. This is someone who would not need as much supervision as the junior associate.
Our Corporate Practice seeks a 3rd to 4th year Corporate Associates with general Corporate and M&A experience. Our Corporate practice counsels clients on an array of corporate, securities and commercial matters, including those related to routine operating issues as well as more complex tax-driven transactions requiring specialized services. Private Equity and/or Securities experience a plus. Ideal candidate will have strong academic record, communication and writing skills, and the ability to multi-task.
Our Litigation group is seeking a highly qualified associates with a minimum of four to five years of litigation experience to join our high-profile litigation practice. IP litigation experience, in particular patent work, a plus.
Our Litigation group boasts a diverse practice encompassing all facets of commercial litigation and have particular experience in Bank Litigation, Real Estate and Title Disputes, Unfair Competition Litigation, Patent, Trademark and Copyright cases, Employment Litigation, Entertainment Litigation, Fiduciary Duty Litigation, Bankruptcy Litigation, Trusts and Estates Litigation, and International Litigation. Our litigators work collaboratively across industry sectors. Ideally, candidates will have hands-on litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions and making court appearances.
- Minimum of four to five years of solid commercial litigation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Effective and efficient problem solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
- Bar membership in good standing in NY
