Robert D. Argen is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property departments.  His work covers a range of subject areas, including commercial litigation and arbitration, white collar defense and government investigations, employment litigation, intellectual property litigation, and technology licensing.  Industries served include financial services, technology, real estate, healthcare, consumer products, and entertainment.  Prior to his career in law, Robert worked in corporate finance for three years at Barclays Capital.  Robert is presently on secondment in the Legal Department of a multinational investment bank handling cybersecurity and technology licensing matters.

Robert is a member of the Arbitration Committee of the New York City Bar Association and maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on immigration matters.

During law school, Robert served as judicial intern to Judge Debra Freeman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and Executive Notes & Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law.  He was also a fellow in the Dennis J. Block Center for the Study of International Business Law and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
