Michelle H. Cox is a partner in Moses & Singer’s Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Michelle advises a diverse client base on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters and debt and equity financings. Michelle has counseled buyers and sellers in the advertising and public affairs industries in mergers and acquisitions, equity compensation plans and general corporate governance. Michelle also has experience in investment fund formation in the health/life sciences and real estate industries. In the healthcare industry, Michelle has advised clients in the novation of contracts and awards granted by the United States Agency for International Development. Michelle was selected as a Rising Star Super Lawyer in 2018.
Michelle attended the University of Michigan Law School, where she was a Contributing Editor on the Michigan Journal of Race and Law, and a member of the Journal’s Race and Curriculum Subcommittee. Prior to law school, she was an insurance underwriter at AIG, Inc. specializing in commercial risk assessment and excess casualty coverage. Michelle returned to AIG in the summer of 2010 to intern in the Litigation Department, where she did research on creditor rights.
