Kaitlyn A. Blanchard is an associate in Moses and Singer’s Trusts and Estates and Asset Protection practice groups. 

Kaitlyn has a diverse trusts, estates and tax practice with a focus on estate and asset protection planning for high-net-worth individuals and their families. She has experience drafting and implementing wills and trusts for individuals with sophisticated asset structures, and counseling both individual clients as well as professional fiduciaries in all aspects of trust and estate administration. She also regularly advocates on behalf of litigants in Surrogate’s Court proceedings related to contested probate, administration and accounting matters.

Her tax practice includes the preparation of estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns as well as representing clients in IRS estate tax audits and other tax controversies. 

Kaitlyn also has a depth of experience advising not-for-profit organizations and their leadership on establishing and administering private foundations. Previously, Kaitlyn served as the Executive Director for a large charitable organization focused on Special Needs Trust Administration for disabled individuals across the New York metropolitan area. She served as a professional trustee on behalf of over 330 disabled beneficiaries, overseeing all aspects of trust administration with millions of dollars’ worth of assets under management. 

While in Law School, Kaitlyn served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr., former Westchester County Surrogate and worked in private practice as a law clerk at Sall & Geist, LLP for the Hon. Brandon R. Sall, current Westchester County Surrogate.
