John V. Baranello is Of Counsel to the Firm's Litigation and Labor and Employment Groups. He has significant courtroom experience across a variety of matters in New York and New Jersey state and federal court. John brings a high level of energy and attention to all aspects of a matter and strives to obtain practical results as efficiently as possible.
John's practice is primarily dedicated to complex commercial, employee and employer rights and wage and hour litigation. He also advises clients on their employment policies. His clients span a variety of industries. John began his legal career at Moses & Singer. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" seven years in a row. Fewer than 2.5 percent of attorneys in New York under 40-years-old have attained such a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
John is a member of the Moses & Singer's Diversity Committee.
Outside the office, when he is not at the park with his two daughters, John plays to a single-digit handicap on the golf course and shoots 300 games in bowling leagues, tournaments and recreationally on Staten Island.
