Elizabeth Nwabueze joined Moses & Singer in 2018 after working at the Firm as a summer associate in 2017.  Elizabeth is an associate in Moses & Singer’s Healthcare and Privacy & Cybersecurity practices. She works on a broad range of regulatory, operational, compliance, and transactional matters.  She has experience conducting research, performing due diligence, and assisting on a range of health care issues including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), state telehealth/telemedicine laws, and international, federal, and state privacy laws.

Elizabeth graduated from American University Washington School of Law where she served as a member of American University Business Law Review; Vice President of the Business Law Society; and a member of the Alternative Dispute Honor Society. During law school, Elizabeth participated in the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Clinic where she provided intellectual property related services to individual creators and artists, small businesses, communities of rights-holders, not-for-profit institutions, and other entities would not have access to these resources. Elizabeth was also a competitor in FINRA Securities Dispute Resolution Triathlon where her team placed third overall; and Warsaw Negotiation Round where her team placed second internationally.

Prior to joining Moses & Singer as a summer associate, Elizabeth interned for the Honorable Zoe Bush Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
