Immigration is a big political issue in the country, but it is also a significant issue in matrimonial and family law. Many immigrants become U.S. citizens through marriage, and the consequences create issues that permeate prenuptial and postnuptial agreements as well as divorce and custody cases. This article addresses such issues.
