    Stephen J. Nahley is a partner in the Real Estate practice at Moses & Singer. He represents corporations, major financial institutions, investors and individuals in connection with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing and real estate aspects of mergers. Mr. Nahley also has experience with construction and architects agreements, municipal incentive programs and residential real estate matters. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate with Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP as well as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York.

    Prior to attending law school, Mr. Nahley worked for several years as an account executive for various advertising agencies.

    Several notable matters include:

    • 60 Wall Street Deal: Representation of firm client Deutsche Bank in the largest real estate transaction ever to occur in downtown New York City: the sale and leaseback of Deutsche Bank’s 47-story, 1.6 million square foot North American headquarters at 60 Wall Street.
    • New York City Commercial Landlords: Representation of landlord in leases of space in various Manhattan office buildings.
    • Commercial Tenants: National representation of tenants in leases and subleases of various size office buildings.
    • New York Real Estate: Representation of sellers and purchasers of commercial and residential real estate throughout New York State; preparation and negotiation of construction and architect agreements.
    • International Hospitality Company: Representation of borrower in $35,000,000 loan secured by leading 5 star hotel property and $15,000,000 loan secured by leading Manhattan restaurant.
    • Real Estate Developers: Representation of borrower of secured loans of $14,000,000, $10,000,000, $10,850,000, $8,600,000 and $8,250,000 secured by Connecticut real estate, including apartment complexes and shopping centers.
    • Tax-exempt Real Estate: Representation of tax-exempt seller in the sale of commercial office property.
    • Non-profit Health Services Provider: General real estate matters including acquisition of commercial real estate and commercial leasing; New York City Industrial Development Agency civic facility bond financing; U.S. Department of Urban Development Section 202 Capital Advance Projects; architects and construction agreements.
