The Huffington Post published a column by Martin Schwimmer on February 4, 2010 entitled, "Trademark Nation: Who Dat Who Own Who Dat?". In the column, Marty discusses the trademark controversy between the NFL and t-shirt vendors in Louisiana, home of Super Bowl contender the New Orleans Saints, and t-shirt vendors in Florida, where the Super Bowl is being held. The NFL recently issued cease and desist orders to vendors in both jurisdictions claiming to own the "who dat" slogan. Moses & Singer was consulted regarding defense against these claims. Please click here to see why the NFL's approach was ill-advised.
