Myka W. Todman joined Moses & Singer in 2005 as an associate in the Entertainment, Intellectual Property and Advertising practices. Her practice focuses on the media and entertainment industries, advising clients on all aspects of their businesses with specific focus on trademark, copyright, right of publicity, and promotions activities including copy review for advertising and promotions, and drafting and reviewing sweepstakes and contests rules, releases and other related documents.
Ms. Todman negotiates and drafts various types of entertainment and Internet agreements, including talent, sponsorship, agency, and merchandising agreements, as well as content releases and licenses and DVD/video distribution agreements. In addition, she handles licensing arrangements and website terms of use and privacy policies, and manages trademark prosecution proceedings within the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
While in law school, Ms. Todman interned as a Law Clerk in the New York Supreme Court for the Honorable Edward H. Lehner. She also served as Associate Editor of the Mentor Competition of the Moot Court Honor Society and as Associate Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal and ADR & the Law publications.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Todman worked in film and television production.
